Coming up

So, Roman Rite has enough material ready for a new album, and is still composing. In fact, the next project involves the Orationes sollemnes and some ancient prayers and hymns (all set to contemporary Christian rock, of course). Albums should be on sale soon.

First Albums

The first Corpus Christi album and the first Roman Rite album are being recorded and produced at Audio Art Cafe, here in the DFW metroplex. Our producer is Jason LeBlanc. Corpus Christ's debut is self-titled while Roman Rite's debut is entitled "Lead the Way, Lord." Both albums have only original material composed by Nikki Martinez and Gerry Davila. Like I said, sound clips to come soon.

Welcome to the official blog of the Christian rock bands Roman Rite and Corpus Christi! Corpus Christi is the joint project of Nikki Martinez and Gerry Davila. We play an eclectic style of rock, from 70's Crosby, Stills & Nash type stuff to 80's Adult Contemporary to modern Christian rock. Roman Rite is the side project of Gerry Davila, playing mostly modern Christian rock, a la Chris Tomlin, Matt Maher, and Matt Redman. Both bands are working on their debut albums. Sound clips to come!
